Circus Siamsa

Circus Siamsa, a beloved event of the festival, takes centre stage each year at Siamsa Tíre Theatre, and this year is no different. Featuring a brand-new show curated by the National Circus Festival of Ireland, showcasing the best of contemporary circus, street performance, and variety acts. This year, audiences in Tralee will enjoy performances from talented artists representing Italy, Belgium, Finland, Spain, the UK and Ireland – for one day only. Don’t miss out!

Featuring MC Mat Ricardo and 5 astonishing acts

Mat Ricardo is an award-winning British variety performer, renowned for his exceptional juggling, sleight of hand, and physical comedy. Known as ‘the gentleman juggler’ for his dapper appearance and sophisticated style, Mat combines old-school vaudeville craftsmanship with contemporary flair.

Gromic – Clown. Inspired by the old traditions throughout the world of the clown and magic, his shows of visual comedy win the hearts of his spectators and cross over the barriers of language and age.

Ariadna Gilabert Corominas – Aerial. A Barcelona-born circus artist with an extensive international career. Specialising in aerial disciplines such as vertical rope, cloud swing, and the Cyr wheel, she combines technique and expressiveness with great stage sensitivity.

Pauline Talon and Liam Carmody – Acrobatic Duo. Pauline and Liam are an acrobatic duo with eight years of experience together. They enjoy transmitting both from their own experiences and from the bases they acquired during their training. The experience of carrying and being carried is something that can be enjoyed by all. 

Säkari Mannistö – Juggler. One of the masters of contemporary juggling.  Immersed in the world of circus from a young age, Sakari started juggling at 13 and soon began devising his own shows. He studied under the tutelage of Arcadi Poupon, Maksim Komaro, Denis Paumier and Jay Gillian.

Selyna Bogino – Foot Juggler and Hula Hoop Performer coming from and based in Italy. She mixes her high level skills with the ability to gain the audience’s favour with her outstanding personality and charm.
