• Jenny Tufts – Jenny Tufts is an American-born, Ireland-based performing artist specialising in aerial dance. She’s internationally celebrated for her innovations on aerial hoop and spiral, but will try anything twice. Someday It Might Even Work is an excerpt from Jenny’s research into a new solo show titled “How to Have Fun as an Adult.”

• Bróna Howard – Bróna A.K.A. Hoopixie has been quietly around the circus scene for some time now, primarily known as fire performer and walkabout artist. However, she has been working hard on choreographed stage acts over the last few years and wanted to share one of those acts with you tonight! Sassy, confident and cheeky as always, her energetic style is nothing short of electric.

• Brendan Fahy – Brendan learned to juggle almost twenty years ago while studying English literature in Galway. After fifteen years as a software engineer he’s come back to his true calling – circus – and as Juggler Brendan he now teaches and performs all over Ireland. He lives in Enniscorthy, county Wexford, with his wife, daughter, and dog, in a house where most things have been juggled at least once.  “An extract (egg-stract?) from his egg-based circus street show, this act is a blend of humour with skill and precision with chaos.”

• Jacob Anderson & Cormac Mohally – “For the sake of juggling” by Throw/Catch/Drop. The emerging duet of Cormac Mohally and Jacob Anderson is the coming together of 2 of Ireland’s premier jugglers. Both coming from contemporary circus backgrounds, and based at separate ends of the island, they believe that the skill of juggling can be both accessible and complex, enjoyable and frustrating, meaningful and pointless, and at all times, FUN! The juggling pair have been supported to develop this work by the National Circus Festival of Ireland and Motion Chapel’s “Faoiseamh”, and have received a “Shared Island” bursary from Cairde Festival and Festival of Fools.

• George Swattridge – An office is a place for employees to gather in order to complete administrative work and business tasks to further the goals of a company. However, this particular office is host to some peculiar oddities that affect those who work amongst it: Enter office man. A seemingly normal worker, thrust into this office space, armed only with his wits, desires and some handstand canes for some reason. Faced with the challenges and obstacles thrown at him, will he be able to restore the balance and monotony of an everyday office job?

Accessibility Note – Greyhound Bar

The venue is wheelchair accessible however the ground is uneven as it is stone floors. There is a small ramp down to the venue space. The venue space does not have permanent seating so seating may be moved to accommodate wheelchair users.
