Are you an aspiring producer, artist, or arts enthusiast eager to delve into the dynamic world of creative production? Join us for the Future Producers Industry Day, a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired.

Time: 12pm-5pm

Schedule:

12:00pm-12:15pm: Welcome and Introductions.

12:15pm-12:30pm: Introductions and Overview: Kath Gorman (Promenade) & Kevin Wratten (Split Second) provide a broad overview of the Future Producers programme.

12:30pm-1:30pm: Meet the Future Producers: hear from the 2024 group about their experiences and insights. Chaired by MTU Arts Officer – Sarah C. Morey

1:30pm-2:30pm: Lunch.

2:30pm-3:00pm: Speed Networking Activities.

3:00pm-3:30pm: Industry Expert: learn more about the Production Manager role with: Mark Carry (Twisted Lane Productions), sharing his insights and production expertise.

3:30pm-4:00pm: Industry Experts: hear from project partners Niamh Colbert (Spraoi) and Chantal McCormick (Fidget Feet) who share their experiences and learning for producing.

4:00pm-5:00pm: Mentoring and Networking. 

Sign up to one to one Mentoring Sessions with Kath Gorman (Promenade), Ciara O’Mahony (Promenade), Alex Maronna (Promenade), Kevin Wratten (Split Second), Lucy Medlycott (ISACS) and Chantal McCormick (Fidget Feet) – 20 minute sessions.

Promenade Bursaries National Circus Festival

Available Bursaries for the Producer Event

Promenade is delighted to offer 5 micro-bursaries to support attendance at both the Future Producers Industry Day and the National Circus Festival 2024.

Bursary Details

Each bursary is valued at €150 and can be used to cover your costs such as travel, food and accommodation for this year’s National Circus Festival

To be eligible, you should:

  • Have to be interested in learning more about the Art Producing world and making connections.
  • Be available to attend the Future Producers Industry Day on November 1st in Tralee, Kerry.
  • Priority will be given to individuals based outside Kerry, from underrepresented communities in the arts and freelancers.

Accessibility Note – MTU Kerry Sports Academy

MTU is wheelchair accessible with ground floor access from the main entrance and lifts throughout the building. There is designated accessible parking in the main car park, close to the entrance of the building. The Tiered Lecture Theatre has 142 capacity including 2 wheelchair users. A 3D tour of the building can be found here
